The Ada Public Library invites you to explore the yarned arts at their Knitting & Crochet program at 6 p.m. on Thursday, January 25.

The Ada Police Department is among Ohio law enforcement agencies recently awarded grant funding to help cover costs associated with body-worn cameras. The Ada department received $26,057.20, which partially covers the expense of updating cameras, software and the associated 5-year service contract.

Velma M. Scott, age 92, of Alger, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at the Mennonite Memorial Home, Bluffton. 

She was born on April 18, 1931, in Hardin County, Ohio to the late Berlie and Betty (Prater) Dotson.  Velma married Robert Scott who preceded her in death on September 10, 2000.  

The Ada Exempted Village Schools have announced a Special Board Of Education Meeting at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 23 for a confidential executive session. The purpose is to consider employment.

The board's February meeting has been changed due to scheduling conflicts. The regular meeting will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 22.

Women's Swimming and Diving wraps up home schedule
