She's in the Atlanta Drum and Bugle Corp
Victoria Ross, a member of the Ada High School class of 2020, never put down her horn following graduation.
After being accepted at Ohio University she auditioned for and was selected to be in the Ohio University marching 110.
This summer she auditioned and was accepted as a member of the Spirit of Atlanta Drum and Bugle Corps based in Atlanta, Georgia.
“Our show this season is called “Legend of the Bottle Tree.”
“We will travel to Virginia, Boston, Allentown, a couple of towns in Ohio and end at Drum Corps International (DCI) in Indianapolis on Aug. 12-14.
“I am looking forward to this new experience where I will be playing the mellophone,” she told The Icon.
"I will also continue to march with the Ohio University marching 110 this fall."
She was a drum major her junior year and head drum major her senior year at Ada HS. Victoria was also part of Inertia her senior year, which is an independent marching band based out of Dayton.
