Frank Badertscher was a 1961 Ada HS graduate
Frank W. Badertscher, age 78, passed away on Friday, July 16, 2021 at 8:20 AM at his residence in Ada, surrounded by his family.
He was born on January 16, 1943 in Allen County, Ohio to the late Harold A. and Margie M. (Morehead) Badertscher. On January 18, 1969 Frank married Patty Long who survives in Ada.
Frank was a farmer and raised Chester Whites and enjoyed being his own boss. He also worked for the Ada Farmer’s Exchange. He was a 1961 graduate of Ada High School. Frank loved playing sports when he was younger. He enjoyed searching for arrowheads and hunting mushrooms. Frank loved spending time with his family. He especially loved watching his children participate in all of their activities.
Also surviving is his daughter, Beth (Don) Lawrence of Ada and three sons: Brian Badertscher of Davis, CA, Brett Badertscher of Ada, Matt Badertscher of Ada; four grandchildren: Wyatt and Ella Badertscher of Ada and Ethan and Grace Lawrence of Ada; three brothers: Ken (Sue) Badertscher of Sugar Grove, Dennis (Laurie) Badertscher of Bluffton and Jerry (Jeni) Badertscher of Ada; and two sisters-in-law: Myrna Badertscher of Ada and Sharon Badertscher of Ada.
He was preceded in death by his brothers: Don Badertscher and Dale Badertscher.
Funeral Services will begin at 12:00 PM on Monday, July 19, 2021 at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada with Pastor Tom Dearth officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ada.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Monday, July 19, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Ada FFA and/or the charity of the donor’s choice.
