Janet Staniecki 1950 - 2021
Jan Staniecki, age 70, passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2021 at 12:25pm surrounded by her family at the Cleveland Clinic Medical Center.
She was born on November 26, 1950 to the late Gene and Jane (Blosser) Hoffman. On July 23, 1988, Jan married Zenovy Staniecki and he survives in Sandusky, Ohio. Jan was preceded in death by two brothers: Paul Basinger and Dal Hoffman and a brother-in-law, Tom Wade.
Jan loved to travel and explore new places. She was an avid reader and a lover of nature. In her free time you would find her swimming and spending time with her family. Her pool was always a favorite gathering spot for her family. Jan had a beautiful spirit that shined in everything she did.
She is survived by three sisters: Becky Wade of Olmstead, NY, Bobbi (George) Fee of Dola, and GiGi (Randy) Fetter of Ada; four nieces: Wendy (Ralph) Deshetsky of Olmstead, NY, Kelly (Tim) Eger of Olmstead, NY, Jenny (Bill Wynkoop) Gilbert of Carey, and Alicia (Travis) Wissman of Ada; two nephews: Aaron (Lori) Acheson of Ada and Andy (Shelby McGrath) Fetter of Lima; 8 great nieces and 5 great nephews.
A memorial service with family will be held at a later date.
