Buckeye East offers coffee and pastries Monday-Saturday
Buckeye East Coffee Shop, 123 E Buckeye Ave, celebrated a Grand Opening on Saturday, September 25 with a ribbon cutting ceremony courtesy of the Ada Area Chamber of Commerce. Mayor Dave Retterer did the honors and a ceremonial and functional broom was presented to the owners.
The shop serves specialty coffee drinks, espresso, and pastries. The house blend of Buckeye East coffee is roasted by Rubato Coffee Lab of Columbus Grove. Pastries and candy are by Sweet Kicks Candies of Uniopolis. Milk products are by Knueven Creamery of Gilboa. Menus are available on Facebook.
Hours of operation for dine-in or takeout are:
- Monday 7 a.m.–2 p.m.
- Tuesday 7 a.m.–2 p.m and 3:30–7 p.m.
- Wednesday 7 a.m.–2 p.m.
- Thursday 7 a.m.–2 p.m and 3:30–7 p.m.
- Friday 7 a.m.–2 p.m.
- Saturday 7 a.m.–2 p.m.
Owners Fred and Kathy Rowe and Nick and Amber Simon have renovated the large, red brick building, developing the One More Fitness Center, Studio 123 community space, and six business suites in addition to the coffee shop. To contact the coffee shop, email [email protected].
