Anna Rose Ramsdell was 100 years old
Anna Rose Ramsdell, age 100, passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at the Wyngate Senior Center, Lima.
She was born on December 29, 1920 in McGuffey, Ohio to the late Lawrence and Virgie (Grant) Shrider. Anna married James Ramsdell and he preceded her in death in 1991.
Anna retired after working twenty-three years as a secretary from Ohio Northern University, Ada. She was a member of the Alger First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her son, John Ramsdell of Lakeview; seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Anna was preceded in death by her daughter, Carolyn Coe; a son, David Ramsdell; a daughter-in-law, Terri Ramsdell; a brother, Joseph Shrider; and three sisters: Fern Fleece, Jean Fultz and Marjorie Wies.
Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 25, 2021 at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Alger. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 25th at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Alger
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
