Mark Binkley was 1959 Harrod HS graduate
Mark Binkley, age 80, passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at 5:24 a.m. at Lima Memorial Health System.
He was born on August 1, 1941 in Lima, Ohio to the late Homer and Glenna Mae (Lament) Binkley. Mark was previously married to Karen Hubbell, they divorced and she survives in Lima.
Mark was a farmer and owner and operator of several businesses. He was a member of the Harrod Christian Church. Mark was a former member of the Elks Lodge #54 and past exaulted ruler in 1983-1984. He was a member of the Moose Lodge #1533 of Indian Lake and a member of the Eagles Aries #370 of Lima. He was a 1959 graduate of Harrod High School class of 1959.
Also surviving is a son, Russell Binkley of Etna; two daughters: Valarie of Lima and Sonja (Randy) Wilkins of Farmersville, OH; a granddaughter, Amanda Wilkins; a half-brother, Carol (Patricia) Burnison of Wooster;
Mark was preceded in death by his half-brother, Lee Burnison and a half sister, Toinette Hoehn.
Funeral services will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada with Pastor Charles Moeller officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery, Westminster.
Friends may call two hours prior to the service on Thursday, October from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada.
The family request no flowers and memorial contributions be made to the Pork Rind Heritage Festival at P.O. Box 215, Harrod, Ohio 45850.
