The McGuffey Memories Historical Society is hosting a Fall Festival from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, October 17 at the McGuffey Community Building, 404 Courtright St. All money raised will go towards future events and providing free activities for the community.
Fall Festival activities for children include
- Pumpkin painting
- Corn pit play area
- S’mores
Pre-sale chicken dinners are $12.00 by donation. They include 1/2 chicken, 2 sides, and dinner roll. See any board member to purchase tickets. Additional attractions:
- Pie available per slice by donation
- Apple cider slushies
- Basket raffle
- 50/50 drawing
- Pie contest
To enter a pie, organizers request that contestants bring two of the same pie to be judged. To enter a pie, contact Darci at 419-296-3596.
