ADA - The Ada track and field team hosted its annual 15-team Ada Invitational on a cool but sunny Saturday at War Memorial Stadium.
Carey captured first in the girls meet with 112.33 points. Spencerville finished second with 102.5, and Van Wert came in third (99). The Lady Bulldogs came in seventh out of 14 teams with 36.5 points.
The boys meet title was taken easily by Van Wert with 133 points. Arlington won a crowded race for second with 76 points. Ada finished tied with LCC for 11th out of 15 teams with 19 points.

The Hardin County Engineer, in partnership with ODOT, is proposing to replace the existing bridge on County Road 75 over Hog Creek located at mile marker 15.15 (approximately 2.5 miles northeast of the village of Ada).
Construction activities will result in temporary roadway closures. Vehicular traffic will be detoured. Access to all properties will be maintained throughout construction.
Construction is anticipated to occur in the summer of 2023.
