Pharmacy students hold a musical therapy session with residents of Vancrest on Tuesday afternoon.
Several members of the American Society of Pharmacy Consultants travel to Vancrest twice a week to talk with residents, which offers socialization.
They also bring small drums, triangles, mariachis, and other instruments to engage the senses. ASPC advisors are Kelly Reilly Kroutos and Kristen Finley Sobota. Co-chairs of the project are students Kayla Nagy and Yeri Noh.

August 18, 1939 the American Legion Post will be erecting in Woodlawn Cemetery an eight foot monument to soldiers, sailors and nurses of all U.S. wars.
November 20, 1939 Doling’s Bakery, one of Ada’s oldest business houses, closed its doors Monday after 50 years by members of the same family.

Former Ohio Northern University staff members Monty Siekerman and Alfred Cohoe will share their experiences about Dr. Martin Luther King's talk on the ONU campus in 1968 during a program at 5 p.m., Wednesday, March 21, in the Bluffton Public Library, 145 S. Main St., Bluffton.
Bluffton Public Library will host a community conversation and free showing of the film Selma (2014) on March 21 at 5 p.m.
Before the movie, former Ohio Northern University staff members Monty Siekerman and Alfred Cohoe will share their experiences during Dr. King’s talk on ONU’s campus in 1968 (shortly before the events from the film took place).
Ohio Northern junior Alex Pizarro (Boonsboro, Md.) has been named the men’s lacrosse Ohio Athletic Conference defensive player of the week. Pizarro earned the honor for the first time this season and the second time in his career.
The junior goalkeeper faced 21 shots during Northern's 14-3 victory at Immaculata (Pa.) and 17-5 victory at Hanover (Ind.) and only gave up five goals combined in the two games.
Pizarro added six saves and had an impressive .667 save percentage and 3.56 goals against average.
