No, this is no lake, it's a field. March weather changes from rain to snow to sunshine sometimes instantly. The Icon caught this field north of Ada on State Route 235 on Wednesday.
An Ada location is one of four in Hardin County offering preschool screening for the 2018-19 school year.
Liberty Village Preschool, 725 W. North Ave., Ada, will offer screening on Thursday, March 8. The screening is through the Midwest Regional Educational Service Center.
Screening is for youth ages 3 to 5. Call Midwest Regional ESC to schedule an appointment at 937-599-5195, extension 3020 or email Penny Carrig at [email protected].
These screens help fill classrooms at Little River (USV), Victory Garden (Ridgemont), Northern Lights (Hardin Northern) and Liberty Village (Ada).
Meet Brady. Brady is a 2 year old, neutered male boxer mix. He weighs 72 pounds. Brady is available now. Can you give him a forever home?
To give a dog a forever home, contact the Hardin County dog shelter. It is located at 49 Jones Road on the west side of Kenton.
Hours: 9 am to 4 pm on Monday, Thursday, and Friday. Phone: 419-674-2209.
Generally, about 20 to 25 dogs are available for viewing.
The shelter is also the place to contact for giving up a dog, if you find a lost or stray dog, or if you come in contact with a vicious dog. It costs $20 to surrender a dog, which pays for deworming and immunizations for when it is rescued.
