On Tuesday Ada Rotary members heard an update on the Ada Icon, the community's news website, from Fred Steiner, owner, and Monty Siekerman, editor.
The Ada Icon, now in its fifth year, is a household name in Ada. Since Jan. 1 of this year the Ada Icon has had 74,958 views from 33,481 individual viewers.
There are two Icons: Ada and Bluffton. Each cover the school districts in their viewship.

Good News - the owner of the Rooster has been identified. Seems the little guy got away when he discovered news of a Chicken Swap and wanted no part of it.

Robert Lee Rowe, age 65, died on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at 1:50 a.m. at St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima.
He was born on February 3, 1952 in Kenton, Ohio to Archie and Rosie (Puckett) Rowe who preceded him in death. On February 14, 2016 Robert married Teresa Knupp and she survives in Kenton.
Robert retired from factory work, formerly working in Bellefontaine, Ohio.
Three Ohio Northern athletes were named All-American Scholars for 2016-17 by the Women's Golf Coaches Association.
Seniors Jennifer Hipskind (Fort Wayne, Ind./Dwenger) and Ariana Tomasula (Rocky River/Lutheran West) and sophomore Caitlin Silva (Hilliard/Bradley) all earned the honor.
