Ronald Shun was a U.S. Army Colonel
Ronald James Shun, age 56, passed away on Monday, October 25, 2021, at 7:55 p.m. at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Columbus.
He was born on April 4, 1965, in Germany to Neil and Erika (Matula) Shun. His father preceded him in death and his mother survives in California. Ronald married Minda J. Moore and she preceded him in death on February 10, 2021.
Ronald is survived by his two children: Nicholas Shun of Fairview Park and Lillian (Peter) Soos of Marion; a grandson, Declan; a brother, Rob (Mary) Shun of California; and a sister, Diane (Cliff) Bumanglag of California.
He was a U.S. Army Colonel. Ronald also worked for Penske Logistics. He attended the Ada First United Methodist Church.
It was his wish to be cremated. A memorial service will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at the Ada First United Methodist Church, 301 North Main Street, Ada, Ohio 45810 with Pastor Brandi Rigsby officiating.
