Ada grad to perform on PBS Christmas special
Ian Dellifield, a 2021 graduate of Ada High School, will be performing with the Belmont University School of Music World Percussion Ensemble on the televised PBS special, “Christmas at Belmont” on December 20.
Dellifield is a freshman majoring in Commercial Music, Percussion. On campus, Dellifield is also a member of the Jazz String Septet performing group and a member of the band Checkered, which will be performing at Rodeo Austin 2022.
Christmas at Belmont is an annual Belmont University tradition celebrating the holiday season and the musical diversity and rich talent of the university's School of Music. The concert features a collage of familiar carols, classical masterworks, world music and light-hearted seasonal favorites. “Christmas at Belmont” premieres Monday, Dec. 20, at 8 p.m. on NPT and PBS stations across the country, with encore broadcasts on NPT Christmas night (Saturday, Dec. 25) at 9:30 p.m.
