Bob Piehl worked for General Dynamics
Robert A. “Bob” Piehl, age 64, passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021, at 10:45 p.m. at Lima Memorial Health System.
He was born on November 7, 1957, in Westminster, Ohio to Arlie “Pete” and Margaret Francis (Peirson) Piehl. His father survives in Harrod and his mother preceded him in death. On March 27, 1981, Bob married Dorothy L. Coon and she survives in Harrod.
Also surviving are three sons: Quentin Adam (Ashley) Piehl of Elida, Eli (Krista) Piehl of Alger, and Dylan Piehl of Harrod; two daughters: Charity B. Piehl of Harrod and Emily G. Piehl of Elida; nine grandchildren: London, Alex, Adelynn, Natalie, Avery, Ayden, Brooklyn, Walker and Kinsley; a brother, Dennis (Susan) Piehl of Lima; and a sister, Linda (Pat) McGarry of Michigan.
He was preceded in death by his son, N. Jacob Piehl and granddaughter, Rylee.
Bob worked for General Dynamics as a CNC Operator. He previously served on the Harrod Fire & Rescue Squad from 1976 to 2010.
Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 3, 2021, at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Alger with Pastor Rich Biclawski officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery, Harrod. The funeral service for Robert will be live streamed on the Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services Facebook Page beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
Friends may call two hours prior to the service from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 3, 2021 at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Alger.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
