Jean Ann Miller worked for Allen East Schools
Jean Ann Miller, age 93, passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Vancrest of Ada, surrounded by her family.
She was born on June 1, 1928 in Allen County, Ohio to the late Walter and Nellie (Underwood) Thompson. In October 1947 Jean married Robert L. Miller and he preceded her in death on March 29, 1989.
Jean retired from the Allen East Schools where she worked as a cook. She was a member of the Maysville United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her four sons and a daughter: Gary (Ann) Miller of Maysville, Mike Miller of North Lewisburg, Richard (Donna) Miller of Ada, Wallie Miller of Lima and Bonnie (Clair) Schick of LaFayette; a daughter-in-law, LaDonna Miller of Clyde; eighteen grandchildren, many great grandchildren; and a sister, Doris Conley of Forest.
Jean was preceded in death by two sons: Butch and Rick Miller; a daughter, Karen Miller; a brother, Charles Thompson; and a sister, Marie Kaiser.
Friends may call from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Alger. The family request casual wear for visitation.
The family also request no flowers. Memorial contributions may be made to the Vancrest of Ada Activities Fund and/or Putnam County Hospice.
