Turkey Trot 5K Fun Run/Walk to benefit the Ada Senior Class
At 9 a.m. on Thanksgiving morning, November 25, the Ada High School Class of 2022 is holding a free Turkey Trot 5K as a “ laid back community-building event to encourage healthy habits and give back.”
The deadline to order Turkey Trot t-shirts is November 7. The cost is $20. A $5 donation to the Ada High School Senior Class is included. Shirts can be ordered online.
Shirts are adult unisex, long-sleeve performance shirts. Shirts are not a requirement to participate. Shirts will be available to pick up on race day or on Wednesday, November 24th (Location TBA).
Organizers note: “We will not have official times, race bibs or medals but shirts are available! This event is also not affiliated with Ohio Northern University. Those who participate agree to participate at their own risk and Ada High School and Ohio Northern University are not responsible for any accidents or injuries. There will also be no bathrooms available so please use the restroom before arriving.”
Where: Meeting at King Horn parking lot located at Ohio Northern University (609 W. Lincoln Avenue Ada, Ohio)
The 5K route will be marked by volunteers.
Entry Fee: Free. Monetary donations to benefit the Ada High School Class of 2022 for graduation and graduation week activities (Senior class picnic and senior class shirts) will be accepted. Checks can be made out to Ada High School Class of 2022.
