On Friday and Saturday, June 14-15, the Ada-Liberty Township Fire Department is hosting a big, big, big celebration for the 150th anniversary of the Northwestern Ohio Volunteer Firemen’s Association.
At about noon on Monday, June 10, the Village of Ada sent an email notification that Village phone lines are down. The provider is currently experiencing an outage.
A notification will be sent when service is restored.

Let's start back in 2022 when I had a laminectomy, or removal of some vertebra spurs on my lower right back so nerves weren't being pinched and painful. After the procedure I was given an opioid pain killer that was clearly listed on my chart as TOXIC and allergic. I suffered a massive heart attack. But I was blessed that day because the best Cardiologist in Lima was on call, and he brought me back to life, placed two life-saving stents in my heart, and allowed me to live again.
The Village of Ada Council will hold a special meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 11 to present information and provide an opportunity for public discussion on a Buckeye Ave. proposal. The village is planning to make safety and parking improvements. Two one-way traffic configurations are under consideration. The meeting will be held at Community Health Professionals, 1200 S. Main St., Ada.
