Debi Lowery worked for USV High School
Deborah Gayle “Debi” Lowery, age 69, passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021, at Mercy Health-St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima.
She was born on April 24, 1952, in Lima, Ohio to Clinton and Betty Aileen (Brown) Selvage. Her father preceded her in death and her mother survives in Alger. On January 18, 1974, Debi married William J. “Bill” Lowery and he survives in Alger.
Also surviving are her two children: Clint Lowery of Dallas, Texas and Shea (John) Cummings of Westerville; five grandchildren: Reed, Drew, Paige, Addison and Jackson; and a sister, LaVonna (Mike) Rose of Kenton.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Sydney.
Debi retired from Upper Scioto Valley High School, where she worked as the high school secretary. She was a member of the McGuffey Church of Christ.
Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 16, 2021, at the McGuffey Church of Christ, 203 Columbus Street, McGuffey, Ohio 45859 with David Holbrook officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada and one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.
