The Ohio Northern men's track and field program and senior jumps specialist Alex Sibila (Zionsville, Ind.) were recognized Thursday, July 26 by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) with the release of their annual All-Academic honors list.
The men's program received All-Academic Team honors from the USTFCCCA for the 2018 season, joining a list of 291 NCAA Division III teams recognized for their academic achievements. The listing would include 106 men's track and field squads while 185 women's programs garnered the accolade.
The Ohio Northern women's track and field program received high praise for their successes in the classroom during the 2018 seasons from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) with the release of their annual All-Academic honors list on Thursday, July 26.

A special Village of Ada Council meeting has been called for Tuesday, July 31, at 6:30 p.m.
The sole purpose of the meeting is to ask for passage of a resolution authorizing the Village Administrator to advertise for bids for the solid waste contract, an action that must be taken before any advertisement can be placed.
Ada school board has scheduled two special meetings in August.
They are at:
• 5:30 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 2,
• and, 5:30 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 9.
The board will meet in executive session at both meetings to consider the appointment, employment, dismissal, discipline, promotion demotion or compensation of a public employee.
