ODOT reports two road projects near Ada for the week of June 25. They are:
State Route 195 between County Road 110 and Township Road 100 (East Cottonwood Road), just south of McGuffey, closed June 6 for approximately 30 days for a resurfacing and widening project. Traffic is detoured onto county Road 110, state Route 235 and state Route 309 back onto state Route 195. Work is being performed by Bluffton Paving.
State Route 309 between the Allen County line and the Kenton will be reduced to one lane through the work zone for resurfacing. Work is being performed by Bluffton Paving.
The lines on the ONU field on the west side of the stadium are being erased since lacrosse season is over and the university will host several soccer camps on this field this summer.
Physical plant summer employees Chloe White-Hoffman adds a solvent to the white lines, while Andrew Trihaft runs a power washer over the artificial turf to eliminate the lacrosse markings.
Lines for soccer will be added soon because ONU will host 10 soccer camps and clinics this summer.
Excitement is the word to describe the performance of the Boston Crusaders. The drum and bugle corp presented their performance on Wednesday night at the ONU football stadium. See the story below for more photos. (Monty Siekerman photo)
Three golden retrievers from Idaho and Columbus, Ohio, attended the final rehearsal of the Boston Crusaders. The well-behaved puppies enjoyed all of the action and sounds but couldn’t convince Jeff and Joy Good to stay in Ada until Saturday for the official opening of the Ada Dog Park.
