New Used and Needful Things opened this month at the intersection of State Route 309 and 235 south of Ada.
According to Claudia Titus of the business, “We buy, sell and trade items. We accept donations and include lots of items from garage sales. The money earned on sales is used for our animal rescue account.”
Home at Last Animal Rescue, also operated by the owners of New Used and Needful Things, recently received 501c3 status and is a non-profit agency.
Officers of the non-profit agency are Claudia Titus, president; John Stephens, vice president and Marilyn Dearth, secretary.

The pet that receives the most votes/likes by noon on Christmas Eve, will enable its owner to decide which local charity will receive a $500 donation from Liberty National Bank.
Wednesday was dress rehearsal day for students at Ready, Set, Grow Preschool in Ada. The students' Christmas party is Thursday. Children will present several songs and poems including "Twas the Night Before Christmas." The morning class performance is at 11 a.m. The afternoon class performance is at 2:30 p.m. at 4171 State Route 235 (South Main Street).
