Scott Thomas Zuercher worked for Hamlet Protein

Scott Thomas Zuercher was the beloved son of Stephen (Ann) Zuercher of Ada, OH and Cherie (Chris) Myers of Findlay, OH. Scott lost his two-year battle with Multiple Myeloma on November 27, 2021. Scott graduated from Findlay High School in 1993 and was a lover of sports. Scott went on to attend Ohio Northern University in Ada, OH. He then worked for IAMS and later for Hamlet Protein.

Scott was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan and Cleveland Browns fan. Each year he and his brother would watch the NFL draft together; now, Nathan and his family will lay out Scott's Cleveland Browns jersey to keep the tradition and his memory alive. Scott was a huge part of his nephew's lives and enjoyed being able to watch them play football. They had a bond beyond sports.

Scott was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. Scott's siblings: Wendy (Darrin) Ryan of Newfoundland, Canada, Amy (Kenny) Hall of Ada, OH, Natalie (Greg) Howard of Ada, OH, Nathan (Courtney) Curtis of Ada, OH, Heather Moore (Billy Smer) and Doug (Andrea) Myers. Scott had numerous nieces and nephews; Nick (Taylor) Ellerbrock, Courtney (Trey) Williams, Connor Curtis, Colby Curtis, Carter Curtis, Cooper Curtis, Kyle C. Curtis, Blake Hall, Tyler Archer, Justin Archer, Grayson Ellerbrock, Bradyen Myers, Ethan Myers, Raelynn Williams, Emma Williams, Clair Myers, Lexia Moore, and Alyvia Moore.

A Private family graveside service will be held Thursday December 9, at 1:00 p.m. at Maple Grove Cemetery, Findlay. Due to COVID, the family is asking that friends and family please wear masks. Memorials may be made to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, https://givenow.lls.org/.
