A REGISTRATION FORM IS AN ATTACHMENT AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS STORY.

Preschoolers thru 6th grade are welcome.

This year’s director is Regina Koons and other leaders include:
•  Minda Shun (arts and crafts and fabulous, transforming site decorations),
• Sharon Fleming (storytelling),
• Ron Shun (recreation and snacks),
• Al Morris (music), and
• Cyndy Koons (kitchen).

One of the great things about living in Ada is that music surrrounds us. Take for example the Ohio Northern University marching band. Members of the band performed highlights of their past seasons at the Ada Train Depot Park Friday night. Look at those dresses and suit! This photo is from the 1924 Ada High School year book. Yes, 90 years ago - here's the Ada High School yearbook staff. Are your great grandparents in this photo?

The Icon invites congregations in the Icon viewership to contact the Icon with your summer Vacation Bible School information. The Icon hopes to attend your VBS and take photos, but we need to put it our calendar so we won't miss it.

Ada 6-12th grade band members will combine for the premiere performance of “Vision Quest” to conclude the 5th-8th grade band and 6-8th grade choir concert Monday, May 19, at 7 p.m. in the Ada school auditorium.

This will be the first public performance of the piece commissioned and paid for by the Ada Music Boosters. Composed by Ohioan James Swearingen, this contest-style piece begins with a slow lyrical section which grows into a faster, more aggressive second section.
