The editorial board of Aurora: The Undergraduate Research Journal at Ohio Northern University, announced the publication of its inaugural issue.
The first issue is titled “Better You, Better ONU: Advances in athletics, public health and safety,” and it showcases student-authored research using methods in pharmacy, kinesiology, civil engineering, biology and more to address pressing issues.
Among topics are active learning in classrooms, PTSD as a disease, training for increased lung capacity and breath-hold, streetlights and road safety, and a comparative analysis of athletes in soccer and lacrosse.
Both essay-length articles and posters are presented.
In cooperation with Ada schools, the Ada Icon will post each of the Ada High School class of 2020 seniors in the spotlight. Melina Temple is today's senior in the spotlight.
Kyle Weisenburger has joined Kimmet Realty, Pandora, as a realtor, announced Dennis Kimmet, broker.
Originally from Continental, Weisenburger is a 2003 University of Findlay graduate. He and his wife and their two children live in Columbus Grove.
“Kyle has been active in real estate in Putnam, Hancock and Allen counties,” said Kimmet. “He offers a diverse set of skills to help buyers.”
“And, he has a passion for real estate, as he bought and remodeled and sold his first home at age 20, giving him experience and knowledge in construction.”
