The Ada Police Department seeks assistance from the public to identify a vehicle involved in a hit and run at the Liberty National Bank, according to Michael Harnishfeger, Ada police chief.
"Our officers would like to speak with the owner-driver of this vehicle. The vehicle would have substantial damage to the front passenger side of the vehicle," said Harnishfeger.
"As always, we appreciate your assistance and look forward to receiving information on who the owner/driver is," he continued.
Young Ada artists invite Icon viewers to an exclusive art show on Thursday. The invitation is to attend an elementary art show from 5 to 6:30 p.m., Thursday, May 2, in the Ada school elementary hallways.

After two cancellations, heavily-favored Ada was awarded a forfeit win over Celina in the first round of the Ohio Tennis Coaches Association duals tournament Sunday.
The Ada/Celina match was postponed April 20 and April 25 by inclement weather, and the first round had to be completed by April 28.
The win improves the Bulldog record to 12-4, a single-season program record for most wins. It also advances Ada to a second round OTCA rematch in the northwest region vs. Clyde at a date TBA.
Last year, Clyde edged the Bulldogs 3-2 in the second round of the OTCA tournament at Ohio Northern.

The Ada track and field teams each finished a strong second at the rainy, eight-team Upper Scioto Valley Invitational Thursday evening.
Four Bulldog boys and one Ada girl took individual firsts: Brenna Hissong (400), Miguel Jordan (800), Alex Morgan (300 hurdles), Michael Crouse (400) and Phillip Gautier (long jump).
The Bulldog boys and girl foursomes each won the 4x400 relay races.
Riverdale won the girls team crown with 186 points, while McComb captured the boys team title with 149.5. The Lady Bulldogs tallied 106 points to come in second, and the Bulldog boys scored 118 to also finish as runner-up.

The Ada softball team was seeded sixth out of 11 teams in the Div. IV Wapakoneta sectional/district drawings held Sunday. The Lady Bulldogs (8-10) begin defense of their 2018 district title when they host seventh seed Maron Local (5-11) Monday, May 6 at 5 p.m. in first round play.
The Ada/ML victor will then play at third seed Ft. Recovery Thursday, May 9 in the sectional finals at 5 p.m.
That winner will advance to the Wapak district semifinals May 14 at 6:30 p.m.
