Ada senior speedster Logan Jolliff finished second in his 100-meter dash preliminary heat Wednesday with a time of 11.21. He advanced to the eight-man finals race Friday at 6:12 p.m., and is tied for the third-best qualifying time.

Buckeye Ave. safety improvements and parking expansion are in effect. New signs mark the entrances to east and west blocks off Main St., which are now one way to reduce traffic conflict points. New signs indicate "do not enter" these blocks from Gilbert and Johnson Streets. Also in effect are new back-in parking spots, which reduce the likelihood of crashes.
