Penny E. (Amstutz) Mumma, age 69 years young of Ada, Ohio went to be with Lord ending her pain on Friday, September 29, 2017 at Lima Memorial Health System, with her family at her side after a lengthy illness. 

Penny was born on March 12, 1948 in Bluffton, Ohio, the daughter of Carl L. and LaVaun B. (Weaver) Amstutz, both of whom preceded her in death. 

Penny married Ray F. Mumma on March 16, 1968 and he survives in Ada. 

She attended Beaverdam Elementary-High School Beaverdam, OH and graduated from Bluffton High School, Bluffton, OH in 1966.

Meet the Icon dog of the week, Seanna, Seanna is a 4 month old female shepherd/husky mix, She weighs 22 pounds and she is very shy. Can you offer Seanna a forever home?

Generally, about 20 to 25 dogs are available for viewing.

You probably never thought you'd see your teachers working behind the counter at McDonald's, but it's going to happen...for a good cause, to raise money for the Ada and Upper Scioto Schools.

About a dozen elementary teachers from each school will compete at Ada McDonald's to see which school has the highest sales during a set time. A percentage of all sales goes to the schools.

Ada teachers will be at McDonalds from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 9 while USV teachers' shift is the same time on Monday, Oct. 16.

Teachers will welcome customers, handle order taking and cashiering, and hand out food orders in the dining area and drive thru.
