Hardin Co. Homemakers event on April 5
On April 5, 2022 the Hardin County Homemakers will be hosting their annual Spring Achievement Day from 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. at the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge, 801 Lima Street, Kenton, OH. The 2022 theme is “Homemakers are the Bee’s Knees.” Forest Jackson Homemakers will be signing members and guests 9 a.m. and Cultural Arts projects will be accepted at that time.
The program for this year will include Gerald Althauser, a local beekeeper, who will share “What You Do or Don’t Know About Bees.” Other presenters include Jacque Sperling- “Mazza Museum; Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow”; Doris Blum-“Weaving Pictures Into Your Family Genealogy”; Christine Henderson from the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office-“Is Fighting for Your Purse Worth It?”; and Jami Dellifield from Ohio State University Extension-“A Honey of a Protein Bar."
The Ladies of the Moose will be providing lunch of Potato or Vegetable Soup, Chicken or Ham Salad Croissant Sandwich, Fruit Jello, and coffee, water, or lemonade. The cost per person is $10 for the programming and lunch. To attend only the programming, cost is $6. For more information and to register contact Karen at 937-464-5691 before March 25, 2022.
