Despite shooting a season-high 58.7% from the the floor and building a 50-42 halftime lead, the Ohio Northern men's basketball team dropped a 93-84 road decision at Wilmington Wednesday after committing 16 second-half turnovers in the contest.

With the loss, ONU falls to 3-4 overall and to 0-2 in the OAC. Meanwhile, WC advances to 5-1 on the season and 2-0 in conference action.

During today’s snow showers, village employees were making the rounds collecting leaves for the last time this season. With rains and snows much of the fall, it’s been difficult for homeowners to rake leaves to the curb and equally challenging for the village to pick them up. The task soon will be over. A team of Ohio Northern students, including three Ada High School grads, won a position paper award for a project they developed for representing the delegation of Belgium at the recent American Model United Nations Conference in Chicago. Local students included Blaine Dearth, Mara Guyton, and Sarah Hasan.

The Harlem Globetrotters are coming to Ohio Northern Sports Center on Monday, Jan. 28, 2019 as part of their 2019 Fan Powered World Tour. Tickets are $17-$197.

 

Prior to every performance, fans can purchase a ticket to Magic Pass, the Globetrotters' pregame event. Magic Pass gives fans access to the stars of the team, an opportunity to learn tricks, shoot hoops and take pictures on the court. After each game, fans can participate in a free autograph session.
