KISSIMMEE, Fla. — The Ohio Northern softball team posted victories over Rowan (N.J.) (4-2) and McDaniel (Md.) (3-2) on Saturday afternoon to wrap up its spring break trip in Kissimme, Fla. on Saturday afternoon at the Sunkissed Games.
The Polar Bears improve to 9-2 after a successful spring break, while the Profs fall to 6-2 and the Green Terror drop to 1-5.
ONU sophomore Ann McArn (Bay Village/Western Reserve Academy) posted a hat trick to lead the Ohio Northern women's lacrosse team to a 13-7 victory over NAIA-foe Cleary (Mich.) on Saturday afternoon at Dial-Roberson Stadium.

McArn had a team-best three goals and four draw controls and picked up a game-best six ground balls in the victory.
The Ada High School Winter Guard placed third among 33 color guards at the Winter Guard International regional competition in Nashville this weekend.

Art educator, Linda Lehman, will lead children in a painting activity that relates to artworks the children will view in the Kewpee High School Art Invitational Exhibit. ONU Senior Emily Richards (Delaware/Hayes) won titles in the 800-meter and mile runs and was All-American with a third place finish in the 3,000-meter run on the second day of the NCAA Division III Women's Indoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday at the Birmingham Cross Plex.
As a team, the Polar Bears finished third with 30 points, the highest NCAA Championships finish in school history.
Richards started the day by winning the mile in 4:51.24, cruising to the victory by 1.52 seconds. She is now a two-time champion in the event indoors and a 3-time champion overall.
