Bulldog baseball blanked by Falcons

The Ada High Schoolbaseball team lost 12-0 at Riverdale Tuesday evening, April 12. Ada was supposed to host the game, but the contest was moved to Riverdale due to wet fields.
The Bulldogs fell to 2-4 with the defeat. Undefeated Riverdale improved to 5-0 with the win.
Falcon hurler Gunner King pitched a one-hitter to post the victory.
Riverdale scored four runs over the first two innings to build a 4-0 lead. The Falcons pushed eight runs across the plate in the fifth frame to invoke the 10-run rule.
Bulldog junior Roman Snyder collected the lone Ada hit with a leadoff double in the fourth inning.
The Falcons out-hit the Bulldogs 5-1 and took advantage of six Bulldog errors.

The Ada game at league foe Columbus Grove (4-1, 1-0 NWC) Monday, April 11 was rained out and rescheduled for Wednesday, April 20.
The Bulldogs are slated to play a makeup game at Cory-Rawson (1-1) April 13.
Ada (0-1 NWC) is scheduled to entertain local NWC foe Bluffton (1-5, 0-0 NWC) Thursday, April 14.
