“Our customers are family”: Norada Lanes hosts benefits for Caskie family
“I can’t say enough about that young man,” says Vickie Wolber, owner of Norada Lanes of Troy Caskie, in whose name the bowling alley will hold two benefit events in May 2022; “He just had a smile that when you saw it, you couldn’t be in a bad mood anymore.”
Troy Caskie passed away on September 6, 2021 at age 31. A graduate of Cory-Rawson High School, he was married to Jessie Melton Caskie. His obituary describes him as “a family man whose greatest joy was spending time with his wife and family.”
On May 7 the 4th annual Norada Lanes Golf Outing will be a 4-person scramble starting at 9:00 a.m. Prize money will be based on the number of entries at $200/team. Includes 50/50 drawings and raffle giveaways.
On May 14 Norada Lanes will host a benefit event starting at noon at the bowling alley located at 1102 OH-235, including:
- Chicken barbecue with dinners served until 6:00 p.m.
- Cornhole tournament starting at noon. This is a double elimination competition.
- No-tap tournament. Bowl three games any time during the event. Top score will be announced at the end of the day.

A preview of raffle items and ticket sales will take place during regular business hours of 6 p.m.-midnight on May 2 and 13, as well as 6:00-8:00 p.m. on May 9, 11 and 12.
