Private memorials will be held for Jeffrey Parkins and Peggy Parkins

Jeffrey Parkins and Peggy Parkins died on May 7, 2022 at their residence in McGuffey due to a house fire. Memorial services will be private with Price-McElroy Funeral Home of Kenton assisting the family with arrangements. 

PEGGY PARKINS

Peggy was born in Lima on April 7, 1968 to Janet Evans of Lima and the late Roscoe Evans. On April 6, 2020 she married Tony Parkins Sr. and he survives in McGuffey.

Also surviving are her children; Sharayah (Daniel) Blackowske, Jason (Ashley) Barron, Austin (Elizabeth) Barron, Tony (April) Parkins Jr., Roger (Mary) Parkins and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by 2 sons; Nathan Barron, and Jeffrey Parkins.
Peggy helped her husband with their family business. In her free time she enjoyed going on motorcycle rides and touring the country. 

She was an amazing mother and grandmother who loved to spend time with her husband and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by those who knew her.

JEFFREY PARKINS

Jeffrey was born in Kenton on July 11, 2001 to Tony Parkins Sr. of McGuffey and the late Lesa Helton.

Surviving are his grandmother; Oma Parkins of McGuffey, a sister; Samantha (Robert) Ratcliff of Dayton, his brothers; Tony (April) Parkins Jr. of Kenton, Roger (Mary) Parkins of Ada and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents; Burl Helton Sr. and Jack Parkins
Jeffrey was a 2020 graduate of USV/Highpoint.

Anyone that knew Jeffrey, knew he was funny and could make anyone laugh. He was always there when someone needed to smile or needed a hug. He was a huge video gamer and he loved his cats and his family but he most definitely loved his grandma.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Jeffrey's honor may be made to the funeral home in care of the family.
