Saturday, August 13 is the 109th annual Farmers & Merchants Picnic at Ada's War Memorial Park. The attached event poster details the full day of activities and entertainment prepared by local organizers.

The entire day will be busy with activities:

8:00 a.m. - Ohio Western Horse Association Show - Contest, halter and performance classes

9:00 a.m. - Registration for Truck & Semi Show - 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. show

9:30 a.m. - Parade from W. Lincoln St. to the park

10:30 a.m. - Flag raising and welcome on Main Stage

11:00 a.m. - Kids' Pedal Tractor Pull on Main Stage - Sponsored by Ada Kiwanis

Noon - Cornhole signup - 1:00 p.m. tossing; $25/team

2:00 p.m. - Gates open for F&M Picnic Pull

3:00-6:00 p.m. - Live band: Spit-Snake Johnson and the Rattlers

5:00 p.m. - Main prize drawing; hourly door prizes

Entertainment throughout the day will include Ada Cheerleaders, Talent Show with 12 acts and Elvis, Vicki Mills-Noteworthy Choir, Carson Magic and Glovaion Circus, wood carver.

Activities include games for kids, Southern Ohio Axe Throwing, Ring Toss sponsored byt he Ada Rotary Club, merchants booths, arts & crafts, pool admission sponsored by the Ada Lions Club, bingo, dunk tank, face painting, kids' train. watermelons.

Food available all day: hamburgers, hot dogs, brats, chicken noodles, pulled pork, walking tacos, potato salad, homemade pies, ice cream, caramel apples.
