Claire Vaubel named Paul Harris Fellow by Rotary International
Claire Vaubel, a member of the Ada Rotary club, was recently honored as a Paul Harris Fellow by virtue of her gift of $1,000 to The Rotary Foundation. The honor is named for the founder of Rotary International.
The Rotary Foundation helps to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace by improving health, providing quality education, improving the environment, and alleviating poverty. It is a leader in in the ongoing effort to eradicate polio, which is now found in only two countries in the world.
"Happy Dollars," donated by Ada Rotary members at its meetings, go directly to support polio eradication and are matched 2 for 1 by the Gates Foundation.
The Ada Rotary Club meets at noon on Tuesdays at The Inn at Ohio Northern University. For more information, contact John Neville at 419-236-2038.
