Patricia Klingler was a homemaker
Patricia K. “Pat” Klingler, age 81 passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Mercy Health-St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima.
She was born on May 2, 1941 in Shiloh, Ohio to the late Forrest “Mike” and Mildred Helen (Firestone) Gilbert. On December 18, 1955, Pat married Robert E. “Bob” Klingler and he survives in Ada.
Pat loved visiting with her family and friends. She loved country music especially Conway Twitty. She was avid flower gardener. She enjoyed reading and playing games. She enjoyed travelling for many years to Myrtle Beach with her husband. She was a wonderful homemaker.
She is also survived by a son, Jim (Cheryl) Klingler of New Philadelphia; two daughters: Deb (Jeff) Fries of Worthington and Lori Klingler of Ada; five grandchildren: Jamie (Ryan) Rieger, Keith (Jess) Klingler, Jaclyn (Stephanie) Harstine, Brittney (Karol) Nawrot, and T.J. ( Jenn) Fries; eleven great grandchildren: Preston, Parker, Peyton, Dean, Ashton, Livy, Max, Ruby, George, Henry, and Eleanor; and a brother, Gene Gilbert of Lima.
Pat was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Gilbert and a sister, Jane Dunson.
Funeral services will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at the Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada, with Deacon Mike Hood officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ada.
Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at the Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Rita’s Hospice.
