Dog park update with ribbon cutting and treats
Girl Scout Troop 2006 is working on their silver award by updating the Ada Dog Park.
The scouts are hosting a ribbon cutting and open house this on Saturday, August 27 from 9:00-1a:00 a.m.
The girls will be demonstrating the new obstacles. There will be treats available for all four-legged visitors.
The 300’x100’ dog park is part of Ada War Memorial Park and is located at the end of E. Lehr Avenue.
The fenced-in dog park includes a shelter, benches and water.
The Ada Dog Park Association created the park with donations by groups and individuals. A sign at the entrance acknowledges donors. Several benches are inscribed with the names of major donor or their dogs.
