Ada fifth grade art students recently created "pocket pots," now on display in the elementary display case. Students rolled out clay, formed a pocket, added texture and let the clay dry to the greenware stage. The pots were fired in the school kiln and stained with acrylic paint. Extra clay was formed into buttons, fired and stained to be hung with the pots to create movement. The pots are designed to hang indoors or out.
