FROM HARDIN COUNTY FAIR__Andrew Allen of Ada has been named the 2026 Hardin County Fair King. Ceremonies took place on September 9. Andrew's parents are Deb and Patrick Allen.

FROM ADA SOCCER ASSOCIATION__Youth soccer in Ada now has its own website thanks to board member Justin Rigsby. AdaSoccer.com is now live and will have important updates from the board, a place to email the board directly, a portal for coaches, as well as maps and addresses for all of the field locations for all of the teams that are part of the Black Swamp League.

FROM ODNR__Hunters in Ohio’s Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) surveillance area have additional dates this season to pursue white-tailed deer. The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Wildlife announced that archery hunting season begins Saturday, Sept. 12, and early gun hunting season is open from Saturday, Oct. 10 to Monday, Oct. 12 in this specific area.
