Gary Lynn Conkle was a U.S. Army Veteran
Gary Lynn Conkle, age 76, of Ada and formerly of Harrod, passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at 8:00 a.m. at CareCore of Lima.
He was born on June 6, 1946, in Lima, Ohio to the late Charles L. and Margaret A. (Shadley) Conkle.
Gary retired from Lima Correctional and had previously worked for Baldwin Lima Hamilton, and Clark Equipment. He was a 1964 graduate of Harrod High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his six siblings: Charles Conkle, Betty Ann Masters, Larry Conkle, Robert Conkle, Shirley Cira, and Linda Evans.
Funeral services will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Alger. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger with graveside military services conducted by the U.S. Army Honor Guard and the Ada VFW Post #9381.
Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service on Thursday, September 8, 2022, from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Alger.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
