Thomas L. Williams was a U.S. Navy veteran
Thomas L. Williams, age 76, of Ada, passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2022, at 4:42 p.m. at Lima Memorial Health System.
He was born on October 13, 1945, in Lima, Ohio to the late Harry H. and Margurite (McElroy) Williams. Thomas married Jean E. Lockwood and she survives in Ada.
Also surviving are his three sons: Tom Williams of Bluffton, Kenny Williams of Ada, and Bruce (Becky) Williams of Ada; eight grandchildren; a brother, Neil (Keitha) Williams of Ada; and two sisters: Linda Cheney of Ada, and Robin (Mike) Romick of Bluffton.
He was preceded in death by two brothers: Bill Williams and Jackie Williams; and two sisters: Pat Morrison and Cricket Mefford.
Thomas retired from Rockwell International. He was a member of the McGuffey Church of Christ. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. Thomas enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing golf.
It was his wish to be cremated. A private family burial of ashes will take place at a later date at Woodlawn Cemetery, Ada with graveside military honors being held.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
