Bulldog Amos 1st team all-league gridder; Green, Bolden 2nd team

Ada High School senior lineman Lester Amos was named first team All-Northwest Conference on defense in Fall 2022 voting recently conducted by the league football coaches.
Bulldog sophomore quarterback/return ace Levi Green was named second team All-Northwest Conference as a specialist.
He was third in the NWC in rushing with 1,025 yards on 191 rushes, and he scored 10 touchdowns. He averaged 5.4 yards per carry and 102.5 yards per game.
Green also completed 63 of 132 passes for 831 yards and seven TDs with nine interceptions this season. He returned one kickoff for a touchdown and averaged 20.8 yards per return.
Ada junior running back Jalee Bolden was also voted second team All-NWC despite missing the last three games with a knee injury.
Bolden rushed for 601 yards on 87 carries (6.9 avg.) overall with six TDs. Bolden rushed for 293 yards on 45 carries with three TDs in NWC play.
Bulldog sophomore offensive lineman Dalton Amos was named honorable mention all-league.
Mustang senior quarterback Jacob Hershberger was voted NWC Offensive Player of the Year after leading Allen East to the outright league title, their first since 1995.
Hershberger rushed 75 times for 746 yards and 13 TDs. He also completed 47 of 80 passes (58.8 percent) for 803 yards and five scores with just two pick-offs. He led the NWC in QB rating at 158.69.
Mustang mentor Joel Billings was voted NWC Coach of the Year by his peers after leading AE to its first outright NWC title since 1995.
Tadd Koch of runner-up Columbus Grove was named NWC Defensive Player of the Year.
AE won the NWC crown at 8-0, followed by Columbus Grove (7-1), Delphos Jefferson (5-2), Bluffton (4-3), Leipsic (3-4), Ada (2-5), Crestview (1-6) and Spencerville (0-7).
