Costumes and candy: Kiwanis and Residence Life events
While Ada's Trick or Treat night is officially October 27 from 5:30-7:30 p.m., there are more Halloween-themed events on Ada's calendar:
HALLOWEEN PARADE, OCTOBER 24
The Ada Kiwanis will host a Halloween Parade at 6:00 p.m. on October 24 behind the Municipal Building (easiest access from Gilbert St.)
- Registration 5:15 p.m.
- Costume judging by age groups (flyer attached below)
This is the first Kiwanis parade since 2019 and is an event that has been coordinated by the group for over 20 years. The event was started by other community service organizations and has been an Ada tradition for some 70 years.
OHIO NORTHERN COMMUNITY TRICK OR TREAT, NOVEMBER 1
The Office of Residence Life invites Ada community members to campus for a family friendly event from 6:00-7:00 p.m. on November 1.
You can show off your Halloween costumes as you drive through campus collecting candy, then park and play games to win more candy and prizes.
Please enter the Candy Drive Thru at Main St. and College Ave.
