Helen R. Robinson obituary
Helen R. Robinson, age 89, of Lima, passed away on Friday, September 30, 2022, at 6:58 p.m., at Shawnee Manor, Lima.
She was born on December 16, 1932, in Floyd County, Kentucky to the late J.D. and Willa (Bays) Newberry. Helen first married Henry Shepherd, Sr, and he preceded her in death. Helen then married Charles Robinson in 1970 and they were married for over 51 years, he survives in Lima.
Also surviving are her two sons: Henry (Linda) Shepherd, Jr. of Lima, and Dave (Nancy) Shepherd of Cridersville; a daughter, Judy (Don) Hastings of Kenton; stepson, Chuck Robinson of Findlay; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and a sister, Lena Corti of Cleveland.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Newberry.
Helen was an avid church goer, she attended numerous churches over the years. She loved her children and took good care of her family. Helen traveled many places with her husband Charles and enjoyed family get togethers.
Funeral services will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada with David Holbrook officiating.
Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
