Manuela “Nellie” Scott obituary
Manuela “Nellie” Scott, age 73, of Alger, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her family.
She was born in Adrian, Michigan on July 13, 1949, to the late Jesse and Bertha (Bernal) Mirelez, Sr. Nellie married Rodney A. Scott, Sr. and he survives in Alger.
Nellie is also survived by her two sons: Jason Scott of Lima, and Rodney Scott II of East Liberty; a daughter-in-law, Katheryn Scott; eight grandchildren, and five great grandchildren; three brothers: Jesse (Julie) Mirelez, Raymond Mirelez, and Eddie (Annette) Mirelez all of Adrian, MI; and three sisters: Rebecca (Henry) Burciega of Adrian, MI, Rachael (Don) McKenzie of Blissfield, MI, and Evette Medina of Adrian, MI.
It was her wish to be cremated. A family inurnment will take place at a later date.
