Car break-ins and thefts, arrests in Ada and Kenton
Car break-ins and thefts recently resulted in the arrests of the same individual in Ada and Kenton.
As reported in the Icon's council summary of November 1, the individual was arrested after being found sleeping in a car in Ada last week. On November 1 that person was arrested in Kenton.
The Hardin County Sherrif's Office issued this alert on Facebook:
The Hardin County Sheriff's Office is investigating the theft of motor vehicles that were taken from locations in the Western part of the county, occurring over the past 4 days. A suspect in the thefts was taken into custody earlier today (11/1/22). The investigation is continuing.
As always, vehicle owners are encouraged to remove valuables from your vehicles, remove the keys, and lock the doors, so as to discourage would-be thieves. Also, be aware of and report any suspicious persons and/or activity occurring on or around your or your neighbor's property by calling your local law enforcement agency.
