Women’s Soccer wins second consecutive OAC Tournament championship
COLUMBUS — The Ohio Northern women's soccer team defeated Capital 1-0 on Saturday afternoon, November 5, at Bernlohr Stadium, earning its second straight Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament championship.
"We told the girls, 'Go find a way to have that special moment that you deserve,' and they did that today," ONU head coach Mark Batman said. "I'm really proud of these girls."
The second-seeded Polar Bears improve to 13-1-5 overall while the top-seeded Comets fall to 12-3-3.
Football rolls up 462 yards of offense in 42-7 victory at Otterbein
WESTERVILLE — Ohio Northern rolled up a season-high 462 yards of offense and posted a 42-7 victory at Otterbein on a warm and windy Saturday, November 5, at Memorial Stadium.
The Polar Bears improve to 2-7 overall and are 2-6 in the Ohio Athletic Conference, while the Cardinals fall to 2-7, 1-7.
The Polar Bears will wrap up their season on November 12 at home against Wilmington with a 2:30 pm kickoff at Dial-Roberson Stadium.
No. 11 Men's Soccer falls 2-1 in double overtime to Wilmington in semifinals of OAC Tournament
ADA — Wilmington scored with 4:26 left in the second overtime period and held on for a 2-1 victory over No. 11-ranked Ohio Northern in the semifinals of the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Tournament on a beautiful Thursday afternoon, November 3, at Kerscher Stadium.
The top-seeded Polar Bears move to 13-3-3 on the season, while the fourth-seeded Quakers improve to 12-5-3.
Volleyball bows out of OAC Tournament with tight 25-18, 29-31, 25-23, 26-24 loss to Muskingum
ADA — The Ohio Northern volleyball team bowed out of the 2022 Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament with a tight 25-18, 29-31, 25-23, 26-24 loss to Muskingum on Tuesday night, November 2, at the ONU Sports Center.
The third-seeded Polar Bears end their season with a 16-10 record.
