Jimmie Ray Bolen worked for Ford Motor Company
Jimmie Ray Bolen, age 89, of Alger, passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at his residence, surrounded by family.
He was born on February 22, 1933, in Garrett, Kentucky to the late Kelly and Eliza (Coburn) Bolen. On December 15, 1954, Jimmie married Marguerite Conley, she preceded him in death on February 7, 2022.
Also surviving are his two daughters: Teresa Bolen of Alger and Vickie (Manuel) Gallegos of Ridgeway; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Rickie Ray Bolen, and several brothers and sisters.
Jimmie retired from Ford Motor Company, Lima.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Alger with Rev. Lewis Hicks officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Friends may call from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 9, 2022, at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Alger and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home in Alger.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
