Sondra Kay Reed was a nurse
Sondra Kay Reed, age 60, of Hickory, North Carolina, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2023, at Standford Hospital in Palo Alto, California.
She was born in Lima, Ohio on February 19, 1962, to the late Elmer and Erma (Stone) Collins.
Sondra is survived by her husband, Mark Reed; daughter, Kayla Butler; son, William Ansley; three grandchildren: Nicholas, Diego, and Julie Ansley; and sister, Debby Bryant.
She was preceded in death by her son, Andrew Ansley, and brother, Gary Collins.
Sondra graduated from Apollo School of Practical Nursing with honors in 2010. She was one of four nurses in her family and loved taking care of her patients. Her hobbies and interests included gardening, cooking, decorating and reading. She loved watching sports with her family.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Preston Cemetery, Alger with Pastor Mark Andreasen officiating.
